John C. Bailey is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM™), and Chief Executive Officer of ChadNic Properties.  He has been working for his family’s company and within the real estate industry for over 23 years. He received his Bachelor of Science with a major in Management from Saint Louis University and his Masters of Business Administration from Mckendree University.

John began his career as a groundskeeper, pulling weeds and carpet. After renting an apartment on his first day as a leasing agent, John discovered a knack for interacting with people. Over time, John gained a reputation as a “turn around” specialist - going into struggling properties, rebuilding the onsite teams and increasing value.

Notably, he was instrumental in streamlining organizational data into more efficient cloud-based property managent software platforms such as Yardi Voyager and AppFolio. 

In 2012, John became a residential sales agent with Coldwell Banker Premier Group, earning such awards as Top Closer June 2013 and Rookie of the Year 2013.  John has since worked in Commercial Real Estate for Realty Exchange, becoming a licensed Broker in the state of Missouri as well as a licensed Managing Broker in the state of Illinois.

In 2016, John was contacted by a local bank about a receivership opportunity to turnaround a struggling property in Saint Clair County, Illinois. Given this opportunity, he established Aco Management which then merged with ChadNic Properties in January of 2024.

By the same token, John makes it a point to get to know everyone he works with and takes pride in recruiting the industry’s best and brightest operators.

John is a member of numerous associations and boards. He enjoys volunteering his time with his local Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity and coaching for his children’s sports teams. John lives within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with his beloved wife, three boys and two dogs.
